1980s Bungalow Retrofit

Discover the journey of a family home retrofit that took place from May to September 2023. This project focused on enhancing energy efficiency through a comprehensive external retrofit, including cavity insulation, external insulation, and a state-of-the-art heat pump. With new passive windows and doors, 300 mm of attic insulation, and ground-mounted PV solar panels, the home made a remarkable leap from an E2 to an A1 energy performance rating.
