This was a vacant property refurbishment/energy upgrade achieving an A3 rating

This project is in 2 stages and targets an A1 rating.  

This project is completed in September 2023 and achieved a ER A1.

This 1911 brick townhouse achieved a BER A1 in 2023. 

We are currently deep retrofitting a 2004 bungalow to A-rating. We are extending the building to provide a view to James Fort. 

Another one for 2023 will be the upgrade of the patio experience at RPH with super comfortable snugs and a more earthy feel. 

This one is still cooking but we are uplifting the corridors within Rochestown Park Hotel

We took three buildings from different eras, renovating bedrooms to a  contemporary standard in a heritage style suiting this period Boutique hotel.

Working through COVID we did not compromise our design ethos. We were required to create independent rooms off a midwifery station. 

The Old Head Golf Club through StreetPod asked us to develop the solution at the 9th Hole. The larger unit with larch cladding nestles into the landscape.  

Creating spaces that are welcoming yet perform clinically to HBN and BUDSET standards are can important part of our design ethos. 

In May 2021 we responded to the global crisis in hospitality to create an innovative industrial design product through RUA Bespoke for StreetPod. 

in Hospitality we are often looking for light refurb solutions that can give a space a new feel without major investment. Here... a bit of paint and wall tiles. 

This renovation of a floor at Rochestown Park Hotel is based on the work of Irish Fashion Designer Sybil Connelly. Furniture and carpets are RUA bespoke 

This RUA bespoke timber and brass door was created to reflect the elegance of 1920s Art Deco in a contemporary setting for b Rochestown Park Hotel. 

This project for the former CIT/now MTU was both a ground breaking and cost effective solution that was rewarded with 5 international awards.

One of our first independent Healthcare projects from 2009. Cork Counselling services deals with clients with dependencies. 

This project in 2014 brought our interest in the environment and interiors together with our signature colour of lime green, so often found in our designs. 

Making high quality spaces with large format tiles, minimises grouting, improves maintenance and infection control. 

Thos quite plain room was panelled using a reverse routing line in MDF panels with reclaimed rosewood and teak parquet to complement the clawfoot bath. 

Built before 1560 this old Friars Cottage is a tasteful collection of vintage and eclectic elements.

In very small spaces a lot can be made of tectonics in grout lines. Simple but effective . 

This was an exercise in minimalism in terms of how low could you go. We deep retrofitted this property for €45k fit-out included.   

Fabulous Bisazza tiles in aquamarine make for a splash in this coastal setting offset against the white sanware and chrome is contemporary yet calm. 

Linking elements of Cork together was a key part of this brief. A fan of Zebrano and Corian, the reception desk abstractly reflected Cork'sthe marine heritage. 

A natural palette this project would go on to win Accessibility Awards in 2009 and opened by Micheal Martin.  

We retrofitted this kids shop including all fittings, flooring, lighting, furniture and wall finishes for €40k and created an exciting space for some high end brands. 

We prepared this proposal for McDonalds Hotel in Kinsale as part of an overall design package that was not realised. Shame really liked this!

When you have a view you should celebrate it! the seating drops from the stools at the bar to dining level and then to lounge..... tiering the view. 

What was a boring circulation area is uplifted with little niches for your mobile calls, bespoke carpet based on Cork Estuary, and two tone vintage wallpaper. 

An Art Deco feel was used to upgrade a very corporate ballroom to be more elegant and playful on these mirrors columns. 

These former cherry panels have been uplifted to a Georgian grand scale by dividing them up and emphasising height. The lower panels conceal electrics.
